Life's been so full this past month. Slowly dipping my feet back into work, my first exhibition in six years, another on the boil, photoshoots, editing, an autumn so incredibly beautiful & mild & long calling us outdoors each day, a week of drizzly, misty rain, russet leaves tenuously hanging against bright blue skies, waiting for that first cold blast from the south, a new class for my big girl, my three year old sweet pea chickadee testing every patient bone in my body, projects on my needles that I'm impatient to wear, a vegie garden blooming with winter greens & faded reminders of summer blooms hanging limp and dark in the dewy mornings. Tomatoes are still ripening & the pumpkin vine keeps marching on. It feels endless & delicious but I know cosy days indoors looking out on cold, moonstone skies are not far away. It won't be long before the winter book basket will be filled so I thought I should get a move on and share our autumn book basket reads.
