You've given away your morning nap, so it's out in the garden first thing, keeping you busy, tiring you out so you'll have that afternoon nap that mama neeeeds you to have. You are such a busy bee.
Gearing up for Halloween. You've been talking about it since Christmas finished last year...what to make, what to wear, trick or treat, can we have a fire? can we have a party? cauldron or jack o'lantern? everyday you talk about Halloween.

When I sit down to look at the past week on my camera I realise how many 'swing' shots there are. We spend so much of our day under the apple tree. "Wing, wing?" you chirp ( and your new one "ampomine?" code for trampoline). We head out first thing in the morning, after a nap, in the afternoon sun, early in the evening before inside time. I remember spending hours at the park with Zahra at this age as a way of getting a little respite from the constant & sometimes monotonous days of parenting by myself. The rhythm of the push, therapeutic for both of us. So too now I find that quietness with you, back & forth, back & forth.
