I'm really loving this weeks theme of beauty in the everyday so I thought I'd keep it going a little while longer. It's quick, has me taking my camera everywhere with me and fills each new day with inspiration and motivation.
another trip out of town
old friends
tall trees, bush scents and last nights raindrops
the simplicity and manual work of splitting and stacking wood...so satisfying
farm fresh eggs, salad, fresh baked sourdough, boysenberry pie and a table of ten
the smell of woodsmoke
the gentle heat of the woodstove
drum beats and rhythm
mushrooms, mushrooms everywhere
out walking with my babe against my chest
being held accountable for dream driven goals
a first ride on a 1500cc road bike and finally 'getting' the attraction...oh my goodness they can fly
coming home with our first batch of homegrown lamb and the learning process this has involved
feeling like were taking the first small steps towards actualising our dreams

the rain outside as I sit here cosied up with a weary dog while William is very generously out and about, buying chocolate
