Winter is normally one of my favourite seasons. The slowness, the cosying up inside, the knitting, the soups. And while I still love this season, this year I'm finding the being inside more like being cooped up rather than cosying up and the while the slowness is lovely, I'm just itching to get out there. I have plans for a chook run and a garden this Spring filled with flowers and vegies, the sandpit is part way finished and Zahra has been dreaming about a cubby that doesn't involve sheets and pegs, more of the permanent sort. I have to constantly remind myself that these days are precious, take some deep breaths and enjoy what now is offering. So on that note it's back to today, beauty is...posts to help me keep it real and soak up what life is right now
