This was our last calender weekend of Autumn for the year. The leaves are still falling, the sun is still shining (most of the time),the air is crisp, the ground wet with dew or the occasional frost in the mornings and the Southern night sky inky and clear. Following a week of early winter sniffles and coughs, a slow and simple weekend was in order. So we spent our last Autumn weekend...
painting
printing
creating for winter
sewing small things
carving
( the little red fox had been in my thoughts for a while and Miss Z joined in with this leaf design)
enjoying little surprises that arrived in the post this week
birdwatching
and "high tea-ing" with dear friends
Happy last days of Autumn to all of you under Southern skies.
